Our first crop of cucumbers is ready! I just ate a big piece of the one in the photo and it was sweet and delicious with just a dash of salt. And, there are plenty more that are just about ready to pick and lots of little ones on the vines.
Image My hubby came up with this great idea to keep the cucumbers along the fence: he strung rope from the fence posts to stakes in the groud, and then trained the new growth to climb up them. It has been working out great and looks gorgeous.
